Influences.................

Há umas quantas personalidades famosas que têm um estilo fantástico e raramente não gosto do que têm vestido, seja descontraído, formal ou fashion.

No mundo do estilo, as minhas influências são Alexa Chung, Sienna Miller, Drew Barrymore, Lily Allen, Scarlet Johansson, Lauren Conrad e Penelope Cruz. Há outras personalidades mas eu diria que estas compõem o meu núcleo duro...

Todas elas conseguem ter vários estilos que coordenam muito bem: o descontraído, o fashion, o glamoroso, o formal, o informal.... roupa para todas as ocasiões e temperamentos.


There're many famous personalities who have a great style and I rarely don't like what they're wearing, wether it's casual, formal or fashionable.
In the world of style, my influences are Alexa Chung, Sienna Miller, Drew Barrymore, Lily Allen, Scarlett Johansson, Penelope Cruz and Lauren Conrad. There are other personalities but I would say that these are the important ones.....
They all can have various styles that coordinate well: relaxed, fashionable, glamorous, formal, informal .... clothes for all occasions and moods.

Depois de umas semanas atarefadas, loucas, confusas, conflituosas, cansativas... pude finalmente respirar. E vou vou voltar cheia de força ao blog.... ainda não fiz escrevi praticamente nada do que tinha originalmente pensado, ando muito atrasada nos meus objectivos... mas faz-me falta escrever e pensar aqui neste cantinho... criado por mim. Eheheheh.

After a few busy, crazy, confusing, conflicting, tiring weeks ... I could finally breathe. And I'll be back full force to the blog .... I have not written practically nothing of what I had originally thought...

Fashion Victims................................

Lá porque se gosta de moda, não se deve cair na tentação de ser uma fashion victim. Creio que se deve manter um interesse no que é actualmente "fashion" mas nunca devemos deixar de ser quem somos.... A nossa roupa, imagem, estilo... o que lhe quisermos chamar deverá reflectir quem somos... com orgulho, com segurança... Se o nosso guarda-roupa muda drasticamente de ano para ano, ou pior, de estação para estação... então isso quer dizer que infelizmente somos umas fashion victims!! Que nos deixamos ir pelas revistas/celebridades/lojas e o nosso eu ficou algures pelo caminho.... Nada disso.... é tão bom sentirmo-nos bem na nossa pele, reflectir a nossa individualidade...e a isso chama-se estilo...

E quem consegue ter estilo pessoal e ser fashion ao mesmo tempo, isso sim, aí está um dom que não está reservado a todos. No entanto, prefiro alguém com um estilo autêntico a alguém fashionista demasiado perfeito para aquela estação... Nem toda a gente pode ser como a Alexa Chung que tem um estilo só dela e sempre linda...


Just because you love fashion, do not fall into the temptation of being a fashion victim. I think you should keep an interest in what is currently "fashionable" but you must never stop being who you are .... Your clothes, image, style ... what you want to call it, should reflect who you are ... proudly ... If your wardrobe changes dramatically from year to year, or worse, from season to season ... that means that unfortunately you are fashion victims! You got carried away by the magazines/celebrities/stores and somewhere along the way you forget who you are....  it's so good to feel good in your skin, reflect your individuality ... and it's called style ...
And who can have personal style and be fashionable at the same time, that's a gift that is not reserved for all. However, I prefer someone with an authentic style than a fashionista ... Not everyone can be like Alexa Chung who has a style all her own and always beautiful ...

Fashion Trends....

Tendências de Moda?.... Hummm....

Sempre fui um pouco aversa a vestir-me segundo as novas tendências. Gosto do que gosto. E a carteira também tem dificuldade em acompanhar as trends...

Até porque a moda está constantemente a reinventar-se e basicamente se tivermos peças de roupa de várias épocas ou vintage, vamos conseguir não estar muito longe do que é considerado fashion naquela estação... isto dizendo-o de uma forma muito genérica.

Gosto de ver as fashion weeks e ver o que se passa, quais as cores, as formas e os looks que prometem... mas não sei bem o que retiro disso.

Cada vez mais os blogs de anónimos com fotos de pessoas chiques/giras/diferentes estão na moda... quem dita a moda são os indíviduos anónimos que andam pelas ruas das cidades... e os designers já se aperceberam disso e inspiram-se nos looks que andam por aí...

Como se vestirá a mulher portuguesa ou lisboeta? Heemm... seremos fashionistas? Demasiado comerciais? Talvez Bimbas? Há um pouco de cada em nós, talvez...

Há uns tempos tive oportunidade de ver uns episódios da série "The Hills" e pude observar o estilo da Lauren Conrad. Gosto do estilo dela: bonita, sofisticada mas ao mesmo tempo cool. Boa onda! Aqui está uma foto dela com umas calças skinny que gostaria de ter... Sim, gosto desta trend. Eheh.

Fashion Trends ?.... Hmmm ....

I've always been a bit averse to dress according to new trends. I like what I like. And my wallet also has difficulties in following the trends ...
Fashion is constantly reinventing itself and basically if we have different clothes of different times or vintage clothes, we can not be far from what is considered fashionable this season ...
I like to see the fashion's weeks and see what happens, what colors, shapes and looks are promising ... but I'm not sure what I take from it.
More and more anonymous blogs with pictures of chic, trendy, eccentric people are popular... Who dictates fashion are the anonymous individuals who walk the streets ... and designers have realized this and are inspired in looks that are out there ...
What's the fashion sense of the Lisbon/Portuguese women? Heemm ... are we fashionistas? Are we too commercial? Are we perhaps plain? There's a bit of each in us, perhaps ...
Some time ago I had the opportunity to see some episodes of "The Hills" and I have seen the Lauren Conrad's style. I like her style: beautiful, sophisticated but at the same time cool. Here's a photo of her with skinny pants that I would like to have ... Yes, I like this trend. Ehehe.

We all need friends...

Aqui está uma série que adoro e com que me identifico tanto: Sex and the City.

Dizem que as mulheres são tão difíceis de entender e de prever... é verdade. Por vezes até não me entendo a mim própria.... eheheh.

Mas esta série é uma ajuda fantástica para compreender as mulheres...A amizade entre as mulheres é complexa: somos íntimas, partilhamos tanto.... damos o ombro amigo quando necessário (quem já não chorou no ombro da melhor amiga?), vamos atrás de quem ataca as nossas amigas... mas também somos capazes de nos criticar mutuamente quando o momento o exige.... é tão lindo.

Viva as amigas!! Chicks rule....

Here's a series that I love and I identify myself with: Sex and the City.
They say that women are so difficult to understand and predict ... it's true. Sometimes I don't even understand myself.... eheheh.
But this series is a fantastic help to understand women ... The friendship between women is complex: we are close, we share so much .... we give a shoulder to cry on when needed (who has not wept on the shoulder of your best friend?), we defend our friends ... but we are also able to criticize each other when the moment demands it .... it's beautiful.
Long live the friends! Chicks rule ....

I need time...................

A minha cabeça anda a fervilhar... ideias e projectos para concretizar! Não tenho tempo suficiente para pô-las em prática. E ainda tenho uma pilha de revistas na minha mesa de cabeceira à espera de serem lidas.... pois é, não está fácil.

Quem me dera somente ter um part-time e poder dedicar-me aos meus projectos pessoais...

Continuar a sonhar alto....

Eu consigo passar horas infinitas a ver fotografias, moda, pintura, decoração de interiores... a ouvir música e a manter-me informada sobre o que se passa no mundo. É pena é ter de trabalhar numa área tão diferente...

My head is bubbling ... of ideas and projects to achieve! I do not have enough time to put them into practice. And I still have a stack of magazines on my nightstand waiting to be read .... because it's not easy.
I wish I'd only have a part-time and be able to dedicate myself to my personal projects ...
Continue to aim high ....
I can spend endless hours viewing photos, fashion, painting, interior decoration ... listening to music and keeping me informed about what is happening in the world. It's heartbreking having to work in a so different area......
